We are a dedicated and well experienced North American - European team with many years in the Marine Industry. Our primary aim is to consult and build innovative, sail and power multihulls using the latest eco-friendly, cost-effective marine technology on the market. We have established strong ties with leading players in the emerging alternative marine propulsion movement including Solomon Technologies, MWlines, and Ballard Industries. Company co-founder, Allen Brown, attended MIT in the sixties and brings a wealth of innovative and creative engineering to the company. We have worked with and had correspondence with a large number of naval architects and marine yacht designers over the years - and can offer a range of options when it comes to new designs as well as stock plans. Avante Yachts has also developed strategic relationships with boatyards, designers, millers and other marine companies in the Southern Hemisphere including Brazil, Belize and Ecuador.

We
feel that catamaran construction in Central and South America is a viable option to building boats in China - as so
many other boatbuilders in the industry look East. And that's for a
number of great reasons... including the outstanding government support
mechanisms in place to support boatbuilders in some of these countries. We have not only completely construction of one multimillion dollar catamaran in Brazil but have also spent time in both Ecuador and Belize researching yards and contacts.
The
advantages of building in Latin America include government incentive programs (such as allowing
for duty free importation of quality marine products
from overseas for
boatbuilders exporting their final product), large pools of talented
and creative craftspersons, competitive salaries, low cost of living, vast array of
fine products such as farmed hardwoods, resins, composites, fibreglass and much more.
Access
to the world's largest boating industry - the market in Miami, Florida - the heart
of the global boating industry - is near at hand.
